The Igorian Mountains reach along the northern coast of Goscundy, Alascundy, and Magdaian Sambarrat, facing the Sea of Magdaia. These mountains are well-forested with farms in the several valleys. They are also rich in mineral resources, such as copper in the Igorian Mountains of Goscundy. The climate is Mediterranean with abundant rain in the winter. The highest peaks sometimes receive snow well into winter. The eastern extent of the mountain chain is called the Dashi Igorian Mountains to distinguish it from the western.

The Igorian Mountains are rich in folklore. All manner of inhabitants, such as witches, pirates, and monastics are said to dwell in them in the tales of the past.

The Monastery of Saint Olmima Olima at Penitence Heights rests on the slopes of the Igorian Mountains.
