Asdarah means explicitly the physical planet of Asdar. In this sense it is similar to the 'Earth' as opposed the 'world.' The word is an adaptation of the old word, Asdar, which is thought to come from either the ancient Gwenyan word 'branch' or a name for a tribe of the Elamahti. The equatorial distance of Asdarah is 24,000 miles.
