It is usually a freak accident that the person cannot intentionally duplicate without instruction or assistance by an actual practitioner of magic. Magic generated from this circumstance is called the Zavia Effect.
A gruntling barmaid unconsciously uses magic to ease her work by causing herself to levitate ever so slightly without noticeably rising above the ground.
