The Bay of Spirkeloog lies in the western end of the Dravernian Peninsula. It is rifted with dozens of bays and inlets, including the Bay of Ackmungo to the north. Dravernia and Ackmungo have coasts in the bay of Spirkeloog. Its waters are cold and sometimes visited in winter by icebergs.
