In 2599, the King of Thrain, Garframasse II, (Dúrandwor) caused his kingdom to join the Union of Pytharnia in a ceremony at Trevirs.
Prior to the Accession, the Kingdom of Thrain had treaties with the Empire of Magdala and working relationships with the Empire of Medibgö, based on nearly a millennium of custom. The Accession of Thrain indirectly broke treaties with the Republic of Ithatia.
