Malesggite Civilization was the ancient, indigenous human culture of the Shadevan Delta before the migration of the Proto-Moigthe tribes. The Civilization began in the seventh millennium before Salmakhamer, although legends of Malesggite and Kalaman Civilizations describe the origin of the Malesggite gods before this time. Scholars believe from the basis of ruins, legends from Kalama and the dwarves, and artifacts, that Malesggite Civilization reached its zenith in the fourth millennium AS. Malesggite Civilization came to a decline in the third millennium before Salmakhamer due to the advance of the Proto-Moigthe tribes and finally vanished in the late second millennium. Malesggite Civilization stands alongside Neptultchi and ancient Kalaman Civilization as one of the great pre-Gwenyan cultures of the Pallathantic Region.

Awzarites

Recurring through the oldest Malesggite depictions of the past are the Awzarites, ancient beings which their seers told arrived from another realm. The Awzarites are the ancient gods of the Malesggites and so called as they were thought to be direct descendants of the god Awzar. Awzarites are depicted in art as very tall, slender humans with teal green skin, longish heads, and bronze-colored irises in their eyes. They wear elaborate metallic and bone headdresses and were possessed of immense cosmic magical abilities. They lived about a thousand years.
