A curial deputy is a member of the [[Grand Provincial Chamber]] commonly known as the Curia. They are also called provincial deputies. Curial deputies are chosen by the respective provincial chamber of gentry, usually about ten to fifteen per province. A deputy is in principle equal in voting power to any other provincial deputy.  In practice, seniority often determines access to groups and seasoned deputies.
