The Igorian Mountains are rich in folklore. All manner of inhabitants, such as witches, pirates, and monastics are said to dwell in them in the tales of the past.
The Monastery of Saint Olmima Olima at Penitence Heights rests on the slopes of the Igorian Mountains.
