Griffagno Vedachier.
b 2608, Magetown, Goscundy, Lucacia; d 2649, Banjavit, Airdred's Waste, Alascundy; explorer, natural philosopher, and author of several books on magical phenomena, including the Throe Wastes. While Vedachier was not the first explorer of the Witchlands, he was probably the most intrepid visiting some seven ruined cities. His contributions to hecatology are indisputable. All in all, Vedachier visited seven significant ruined cities and numerous towns in the three different Throe Wastes during his career.
Despite his long term exposure to toxic magic, he did not die until after his fortieth year when he succumbed to the harmful effects of Airdred's Waste. His body was recovered from the waste and buried by his family.
