The Tayhoyre River is the principal river of the land of Erserce. It communicates the Sea of Magdaia with the western Vadsinkoinen Forest. In former times, the rulers of the city of Orlangissa dominated much of lower Erserce. The largest tributary of the Tayhoyre River is the Esdel-Tayhoyre River. The mouth of the Tayhoyre River drains into the Sea of Magdaia and is surrounded by marshland. The river is vital for commerce in much of Erserce and the river is filled with river-barges through most of the year.
History
The Tayhoyre River is associated with the ancient Tayhoyre River Basin Culture and the subsequent Arisparikohos Kingdom. Today the Tayhoyre River is celebrated as one of the four great rivers of the Aurician Empire.
