-The Quirth are a race of rodent [[humanlike]]s who dwell in small settlements throughout the world sometimes in close proximity to humans.  Quirth adult males are on average about 1.42m (4'8") high Humans have a wide range of attitudes towards the Quirth, from disdain for them as vermin to delight in their curiosity and playfulness.  Humans call them 'ratmen' in regular parlance.
