The Neptultchi language bears no recognizable relationship to the Gwenyan Languages or any other ancient language in the Pallathantic region. Neptultchi is the parent of the Xsyte Language and the Tuadbe Languages.

It borrows from the tongue of the ancient Malesggite civilization, but is otherwise distinct. Ancient Neptultchi was the language of the Empire of the Neptultchi Dragon Folk Kings and the surrounding tribes. When the empire collapsed, the fleeing Tuadbe continued to speak their ancestral tongue and today several dialects are spoken in the forest of northwest Pytharnia.

Neptultchi Phonology

The Neptultchi language has no voiced sibilants or stops and fricative sounds like 'f,' 'v,' and 'th,' or their voiced counterparts are completely foreign to it.
