Dated to the twenty third century (ca 2250), this woven and richly embroidery tapestry depicts the court of Bexaloth Archmage of the Infinite Elements of Eternal Chaos, dimensions: 76 inches wide by 42 inches high (193 cm high by 107 cm wide); material: silk, wool, metallic wool; construction: a woven base of true tapestry with various background colors, details and fine details hand embroidered.
The tapestry combines rich colors and heavy embroidery to create a single scene of the Court of the Archmage Bexaloth. His concubines, summoned beasts, wizard apprentices, and their elaborate late baroque costumes are depicted.
The tapestry was lost during the time following the Seventh Isbajath. Scholars believe it was preserved either by an admirer of Bexaloth or a collector. At this time, works depicting Chaos Rulers favorably were considered subversive and typically destroyed. The tapestry was thus kept hidden for over three centuries and completely or largely forgotten until it was discovered in 2567 in the town of Tintamburel which lies across from Bryndyd.
