Map of Sea of Esgarga

A great, subterranean sea reaching upwards to two hundred miles in extent, the Sea of Esgarga rests deep under the earth between Lucacia and the Adamantine Mountains in the region of deepearth known as Kvarraga. The Sea of Esgarga is like an enormous sponge resting in water, filled with myriad columns reaching hundreds and thousands of feet from the stony ceiling to the depths of the chilly waters. The Sea of Esgarga is mildly saline.

Entrances

Access to Kvarraga and thus to the Sea of Esgarga is generally kept secret as the authorities of the local governments have a habit of filling in the entry points to prevent the creatures from below from entering the world above and to keep the foolish from above delving into the depths.

The god Kuma, also known as Emmachaz is honored throughout the dark, benighted dominions of the Sea of Esgarga, except among the most ancient creatures of eons who see Emmachaz as a usurper.

Inhabitants

Several humanlike civilizations make their abodes in and around the Sea of Esgarga. A type of dark orc and goblinoids are attested in several ancient account. Stranger creatures are rumored in legend.
