The Middle Ages is the extent of time from the fall of the Yophenthean Empire, 986 to the end of the Isbajutha, around 2350. Some historians consider this a much shorter period, counting only from the end of the Yophenthean Successor States, around 1150 to the beginning of the Isbajutha, 2241 or only about eleven centuries. The second half of this period from about 1800 to 2250 is called the Middle Ages of Chaos due to the prevailing dominion of Chaos Rulers.
