The New World of Asdar is the western hemisphere. It has been little explored by humans of the so-called Old World. It is known that great empires of elves along with vast wildernesses variously cover its lands. Explorers have plotted the coasts of the western hemisphere and it consists of two great land masses. The northern continent is called Sheloz and the southern continent is called Niphoz.
This can be confusing. East and West refer to the eastern and western portions of the Old World. West does not originally refer to the New World nor to the Western Hemisphere.
