The Cembar Tree grows in the lowlands of the Vale of Shadew. The tree was essential in ancient times for the construction of early skycraft and still used today for traditional skycraft.
The Cembar Tree is similar to a coniferous tree, but has short branches and a squat, cylindrical trunk. It grows in the lowlands near the Shadew River, reaching an average height of about 26 gnö (about 33m). Cembar wood is prized for its lightness and strength. In ancient times, a single adult tree could be used to make the frames of several small, light skycraft or a single medium-sized skycraft for herding gontha.
