A descriptive that means pertaining to the lack of magical skill and the absence of the practice of magic, gruntish describes the nature of a gruntling. Gruntish includes the sense of spell-dumb, but extends to anyone who has not learned magic and so does not practice it, even if he may have an aptitude for it. Gruntish can also mean non-magical.
