The great dwarven kingdom of western Barathorn, Bukalaa strides a continuous chain of mountains flowing westward into the sea. The country and the peninsula are both called Bukalaa. The ancestors of modern Bukalaan dwarves migrated into the peninsula from Midrardia almost fifteen thousand years ago after the Flood of Aturyanda.
The capital of the federation is Imiraldic which like other dwarven capitals rests principally in the deepearth. The surface of the peninsula is patrolled by dwarven rangers and colonized by dwarven surface dwarves who labor in trades and industries that cannot be sustained in the deepearth.
