Warrior-monks of the Chaos god Lygdamion, the Lygdamionites spend most of their existence in contemplation of irrational ecstasy. Humanlikes and other creatures may be Lygdamionites, although may be considered a 'Throe Race.' In battle, Lygdamionites are fierce warriors who do not cringe from pain or death. In Asdaran history, they were known to lead charges of chaos warriors during the Anarch Wars, fighting alongside gargaspuel and common giants who sounded the Horn of Isbuzirah.
It is said that Lygdamionites are unaffected by the mind-maddening appearance of their god, Lygdamion. Today, Lygdamionites along with the worship of Lygdamion are outlawed in most jurisdictions. Lygdamionites must therefore practice their religion in secret or in far-away, isolated communities.
