This article is about the term for ghetto. For the historic district of Gnousikai, see Bromba District (Gnousikai).
Compare the terran word, ‘ghetto.' An ethnic enclave in a city, originally used for Gnousikai and other cities in Maturn, now bromba used widely through southern Pytharnia, Ithatia, Corundy, and Ebinóë. In medieval Gnousikai, the word 'bromba' meant the district of town where the halflings and foreigners lived.
