A sorcerer was originally someone who traditionally practiced divination with entities in other realms, including gods. The word sorcerer today means someome who has magical ability based upon ancestral relationship with a supernatural being. Sorcerers are thus considered to be innately magical. Some sorcerers are atavistic from Demi-Mortal ancestors.
Medibgö is well known as having a high population of sorcerers, but they can potentially occur in any human population.
Some sorcerers are also formally trained in magic. Wizards sometimes regard sorcerers as spellhacks, although in fact sorcerers are simply approaching magic from a different modality.
