A spellcaster is any type of magic-practitioner that uses the modality of a spell to manipulate magic. Most magic-practitioners have at least some skill in spellcasting. Spellcasters include wizards, mages, sorcerers, numinists, and most priests. Energists are not spellcasters, although the rare person who is both an energist and a spellcaster is not unknown.
