A legendary war waged by King Throntiacus of the Ithatians against King Cuphtha of Moya, retold according to tradition by Memerth in the eighth century before Salmakhamer (ca 700's AS). The ancients dated the Moyan War to the thirteenth century (1263 AS). Memerth's account was later written down in sixteen books in poetic meter and called the Great Moyad, to contrast it with the Lesser Moyad.
