Thracian lesser divinity of shamans and warriors on quests, he is the deified manifestation of the folk hero, Vädumani. His name forms compounds for many personal Thracian names, such as Vädusan. He is regarded as a transitional divinity of the early Gwenyan immigration into the High Shadevan Valleys. Vädu represented divine qualities of the gods of the High Shadevan Tribes and of the Gwenyan Tribes.
