Mesealdongabh is the Moigthe god of death. He is thought to share characteristics with the Neptultchi god, Metseltonchanksa, and in ancient times, the divinities were often considered equivalent in Pytharnia. Mesealdongabh is the father of the god Luvas by the goddess, Farra. Their coupling is associated with an ancient solar eclipse. He visits his son's house once a year on the evening before Winter Solstice. At this time, Luvas may ask his father to restore the life of one mortal, typically who has died in the past fifteen months (year). In the ancient world of the Moigthe, there was an associated sacrifice and observances on this day.
Mesealdongabh is depicted as a strong, but aging man, perhaps in his fifties, with balding hair and a rugged expression. He is adorned in a black leather long-coat, wearing a black-bladed greatsword. He typically does fight in battle but directs his followers and minions to do such. He is thought to appear in mortal battles with his minions, especially before and during a great slaughter is inflicted.
