A Badru (plural: Badrinu, possibly from ancient Midretassene) is a person of mixed djinn and human ancestry. The Badrinu are fairly rare and found almost exclusively in Weshif.They appear similar to Weshifi humans, but may have slightly bluish or teal-colored skin. They possess much weaker powers than their djinni parent. Sometimes Badrinu live in their own communities to avoid persecution as half-breeds by humans. A Badru may possibly be accepted into the company of djinn.
