Atur is the ancient Kalaman god of storms who fought the titans and the dragons variously in their turn. He is most known to moderns as the patron god of the mythical king, Aturyanda. His cult is thus antediluvian and directly tied to the ancient Drameggin civilization (Jathya-Dhumi). As the millennia past in ancient Kalama, his worship waned and others gods arose who became dearer to the people of Vimalia.

In Kalaman myth, the titan god, Dithan who is associated with the planet Orion Pharaonicus which the Kalamans knew as Aarothkopshaz fathered Atur by the goddess of creation, Vahmu. Atur is the sometimes consort to the earth goddess Mahada. Through their union, they produced the gods Hukshal, the goddess of winds, and Zhaddhin, the god of indolent wealth.

The mount of Atur is Shandhur, the silver elephant.
