Eriu
The solar wife to Amrulon, Eriu is a mysterious goddess whose worship does not rival the other goddesses of her pantheon. Nevertheless, as a greater goddess, she represents the feminine aspects of the sun and the concordant spheres of nature and solar nourishment. Eriu is one of the two consorts to Amrulon. She is mother to Arathrax, Rhio, and other solar divinities. An aloof goddess, Eriu favors marriage and fidelity to one's husband. Eriu relationship to her daughter, Elystra, is sometimes compared to that of Amrulon's to Arathrax.
Amrulon, Eriu, and Parkia are seen as the chief gods of the higher world, representing the power of the sun and the sky in trinity. In contrast sometimes to Parkia, Eriu is seen as the goddess of daylight and daytime. Eriu is the patron goddess of the city Zamaclë and her principle clergy are priestesses.
In astronomy, her name is given to the celestial orb of the sun. She is considered the female contrast to Amrulon as she represents the feminine energy of the sun. She is known for tacitness in contrast to the goddess Parkia.
