House Cassidari has held the rank and office of Metropolitan since the creation of the rank by Baimund Kaligär. It is no longer a member of the Senatorial Houses of Aurice as it was expelled from the Senate in 2634 for supporting House Bijäl during the Aurician Revolution.

Urth's father was a younger son who did not inherit the office. He was also an up and coming merchant for his trade on the Ibrew River. He was Incarnandist like his family before him. He acquires much land in the Shadevan.

Oleffaird Cassidari: Present Metropolitan, Oleffaird owns land in the Shadevan Provinces and does business with titancraft and raises exotic beasts, especially gibgibsews. He is a widower and an Incarnandist.
