Gods of the Pact
The Gods of the Pact are the divine entities and infernal deities with whom the Pact was made in ancient times and renewed with succeeding generations. The pact is a covenant between lawful evil aristocrats of the Thirteen Ruling Houses of Terub and archdevils.
The pact is governed or watched over by the Mistresses of the Pact—several female supernatural beings who ensure that the pact is obeyed by all parties. These mistresses include the Archdevil Astarte and the god of the city of Terub known as Terubit.
The mistresses of the pact make their judgments and will known to the Ruling Houses through the High Priestess of the Gods of the Pact.
The rules of the pact govern the hierarchy of the thirteen ruling houses, their worthiness, and when a house is rejected or accepted into the number of thirteen.
