Thortain Balamon
b 2502; d 2557. ruled 2549 to 2557; imposed by a Khabur to replace Sidvain Siglär. He constructed the immense Palace Balamon that was destroyed by fire in war and never replaced until the rule of Duke Stalcast Bijäl. His profligacy and his failure to secure the eastern front against the uhlaks earned him the disdain of his subjects. He was slain in 2557 in a duel with Baimund Kaligär who usurped the viceregal office.
