The period of time during the late Middle Ages when the leaders of the Gorcorumbese Geddamin actively sought out kumenontli and released the Geddamin from within them. Before this time, the Geddamin of the Ephysgæes did not fully understand how to activate the release mechanism as they expected their Titan masters to do so. All of the original Geddamin released during this period and the Geddamin who released them have perished as their lifespan is usually less than two hundred years.

The Gorcorumbese claim they learned how to do this themselves, but most human scholars believe that Strakkos Chaos Mage of Ebinóë learned how to release them around the 2200's and then taught the Gorcorumbese how to do it. There is reasonable evidence for both positions. Strakkos ordered the Gorcorumbese to release their fellows and he then enslaved them to his chaos gods. Strakkos found their titancraft amusing and did little to exploit its technology further.

The humiliation and capriciousness of Strakkos's rule was one of the motivations for the Gorcorumbese conquest of Ambrinqua in the Ebinóëse War of 2477 to 2486 which is considered the conclusion of the Awakening of the Geddamin The Geddamin released from kumenontli were deemed to be nobles among their own kind and soon became the leaders after their release. They also possessed much knowledge of titancraft and wizardry, creating in them formidable enemies for the Pallathantic nations.
