The Codex Orkybanthicus records the prayers and incantations of ancient priests of Orkybanth, the Midretassene god of the underworld and judge of the dead. The codex is preserved today in the special collections of the Ancient Philosophical College of Zamaclë. It is of immense worth to modern-day priests of Orkybanth and scholars of the Ithatian religion.
The codex was discovered in 2645 in Kornoia, Maturn, suffering from severe water damage. Scholars today employ state of the art titancraft technology to extricate the text of the pages, many of which are fused together through painstaking procedures designed to prevent any further damage to the codex.
