Tis'baja is a Khahonri word which means someone who undergoes a struggle, a warrior of the isbajath. The alternative transliteration, 'tisbaja' without the apostrophe following the s is more commonly used. It comes from the verb "s'ebejeh," "to concentrate in mind, to struggle in thought against, to fight purposefully against; to fight by means of one’s determination; to be a psychic crusader." Alternatively, it can mean anyone who fights in an Isbajath in behalf of law. The common plural form is tis'bajuma. The feminine form is tis'bajiya. The feminine plural is tis'bajiyúth.

The term kamsudhi means explicitly a psychic warrior, that is, a warrior who uses energist disciplines in combat. A z'aluman is one who practices energism, though not necessarily in combat.
