United Kingdom of Greater Thrace
The United Kingdom of Greater Thrace was the union of Thrace, Gantvia, Jamenth, Shaddago, Hamalan, and Dakkal that was formed in the late twenty fifth to early sixth centuries. At this time, Dakkal was a tributary of Thrace and considered directly part of it. In 2503, Shaddago was finally added bringing to completion the campaigns and political machinations that begun in 2487. In practice, the kingdom was and is still called the United Kingdom of Greater Thrace for ease of use, but the official name was the United Kingdom of Thrace, Gantvia, Jamenth, Shaddago, and Hamalan. The establishment of the United Kingdom was an important precursor to the formation of the Thracian Empire in the twenty sixth century. The monarchy of Thrace was the strong cultural figurehead, claiming descendancy from the god Thwar and the divine right to rule the sky people of the High Shadevan Plateau. The kingdom became subsequently embroiled in military rule, beginning with Vankkagomir, in the twenty sixth century. In 2507, Vankkagomir and other military leaders displaced the power of the monarchy which became largely ceremonial, but was nonetheless greatly revered.
