Founded in 2578 in Aurice during the reign of Grand Duke Stalcast Bijäl, the Aurician Metropolitans Merchant College trains students in the professional skills essential for navigation of skycraft, titancraft vessels of air and sea, engineering, manufacturing standards of merchant vessels, shipping procedures, naval and skyforce practices, and insurance. The body of Metropolitans (senator and non-senator) are the board of regents of the college. Graduates serve in the merchant fleets of Metropolitans and Corpora Mercia.
