A skydock is catchall term that can mean a structure similar to a seadock, but used to receive skycraft and give them access to a facilitate, whether in an elevated location, such as on a high site or a skyness. Skydock can also mean a place without extended docks that is otherwise designed to receive and service skycraft. Some skydocks have tracking rails to capture and guide a skycraft in steadily to rest, thus preventing unwanted and potentially dangerous movements due to air currents.

Modern skydocks in Medibgóëse Skynesses and sites on elevated locations on the earth have increased in size in the past two centuries to accommodate titanships. The expression "to be in skydock" can mean that a skycraft is inactive in a skyport for minimal service or as part of a voyage or is receiving extended service or overhaul.
