Thracian Heraldry

Thracian heraldry developed over a period of more than one thousand years, drawing upon ancient traditions of the skyfaring people of Thrace. The idiom, 'Beware the dragon,' has reference to the second-born son who was next in line and suspect of overthrowing the eldest to supplant him.
