b. 2494, exiled: 2539, d. 2552; Thracian military potentate

Khabur was born in 2494 to a father who was an illegitimate son of greater Thracian nobility. After several years in his young twenties avoiding responsibility, he became a military captain, fought several successful campaigns against goblins, orcs, and human outlaws and was made a commander in the war against Medibgö in the late 2520's, beginning an illustrious career.

Khabur was one several powerful commanders in Thrace who indirectly challenged the authority of the monarchy. The monarchy's power was politically weak and vulnerable to the sway of powerful and victorious military commanders. Khabur was a kind of successor to Vankkagomir and Basgúndin.

He was known for victorious campaigns during 2529 to 2536 and especially 2534 through 2538 when he brought much of southern Pytharnia under the sway of the Thracian Empire.

Despite these victories, the King-Emperor of Thrace with support from Khabur's rivals, restored his own power and had Khabur sent into exile into Barathorn. Khabur's agents were involved with dealings with Gorcorumb and Dewyddair.

He died under circumstances that are considered by most historians to have been assassination at the hands of Thracian agents in 2552.
