A dromb is an old Pytharnian word, most likely from the Moigthe Languages that means a high, rocky mountain with steep, rocky slopes. The Pytharnee Drombs are one such example. The meaning contrasts with the Earth world, 'alp' that means a high, snow-capped mountain. Drombs are also typically snow-capped.
