The Valley of the Djinn and environs rest in the Luphkhaymen Mountains of central Weshif.

The Valley of the Djinn is an expanse lying between the Luphkhaymen Mountains and a spur of the same name, called the Eleph Sahida Mountains. It is ruled by a djinni king who resides in the fabled city of Imnizhar. The djinn have few dealings with outsiders and can be rarely seen in the deserts of Weshif when they are seen at all. The djinn are thought to have always dwelt in the valley since very ancient times.

The Valley of the Djinn remains to this day a place of mystery and hearsay. Most humans are denied entry to the place and even vessels of the air are forbidden to pass over the kingdom. There are no states on Asdar which openly have formal diplomatic relations with the Dominion of the Djinn, although it is widely suspected that powerful merchants have forged secret trade agreements with the kingdom.

Travelers venturing too close to the Valley of the Djinn are often greeted by sand storms.

The Valley of the Djinn has been subject to at least two invasion attempts in historic times. The first was during the Isbajutha, known as Paphutaikim's Isbajath, which caused much harm to the djinn but failed to impose any lasting government upon them. The second attempt in the twenty sixth century was the Fourth Geddamin War when the Gorcorumbese invaded the valley with titancraft vessels of air which ended in disastrous defeat for the giants.

The banner of the Kingdom of the Djinn is rarely seen outside of illustrations in books
