Zimwenyo

Zimwenyo is the core land of the Ojo Empire. It has a semi-arid climate with relatively higher rainfall in certain parts which have greater occurrence of trees and bushes. The Achwara River drains the plains of Zimwenyo during the rainy season. The chief city in Zimwenyo is the capital of the Ojo Empire, Izimbuju. The Ulandari Peninsula is part of Zimwenyo.
