Lwai Shan
Lwai Shan is a rich region in the greater region of Gwo-Dao in the far east that comprises numerous provinces in the Empire of Tangshan. It is bounded to the north by the Purple River and to the south by Chei Tsir and the Lao Bwü Coast. The Blood River forms the region's southermost border with Chei Tsir. Lwai Shan's easternmost provinces are part of the land of Kwei Biao Tsan. Lwai Shan has coastland on both the Sea of Five Lands and the Silver Pearl Sea. Additionally, the region receives numerous sea-borne caravans via the port of Gwam-Pho-Thar. For these reasons, trade generally flourishes in Lwai Shan. Chief cities of the region include Chia Lyo and Nau San. The population of the region is estimated to exceed one hundred million persons.
The climate of Lwai Shan is somewhat tropical with temperate winters and warm summers. It receives abundant rainfall and its principal crop is rice. Additionally, the region is rich in agricultural products, mineral wealth, fine craft goods, and skilled labor. Lwai Shan is particularly famous for its high quality silk production, especially skysilk.
