Deliverance of Saint Aireánnau
In this event in the life of Saint Aireánnau, Mother of the Folk, her pregnancy is discovered and her father, King Arsórean of the Yophenths, wishes her to be put to death. Her mother, Queen Annárva of the Erigiu, wishes her to be kept alive. Her father the king has prepared an execution pyre to slay her by burning at the stake. Her mother threatens war. The warriors of the Yophenths and the warriors of the Erigiu gather to do battle. Just as the pyre is put to the flames, the god Skiánthra appears above Aireánnau as a symbol of divine intervention. The flames of the fire cause her no harm. Skiánthra uses his beak to free her arms from the wooden post to which she is tied. Her father the king acknowledges his error and has the flames doused with water. The warriors are called back and war is prevented. The voice of the god Arathrax is heard announcing the divine mission of Aireánnau as the mother of a new race that will rule the world.

In art, this event is depicted with Aireánnau gleaming with divine power and divine halo standing tied to a wooden post. The golden eagle, Skiánthra, flaps his wings behind the post, with his beak breaking the chain that holds her. King Arsórean stands at the base of the pile of wood in wonderment reaching towards his daughter. Queen Annárva stands in wonderment at the base of the pile of wood on the other side, reaching for her daughter. A beam of light is shown falling from the sun onto Aireánnau's head. Sometimes warriors are shown in the background facing each other as if about to do battle.
