Profile of a Knight-Draconic in an old-fashioned helmet

The Knights-Draconic of the Archduchy of Asbardy are the most well-known and accomplished Draconic Brigade in the modern world. The knights are known for their great skill in dragonmount warfare and the excellence of their breeding program of drakelings by which they procure the finest dragonmounts and the highest reproductive rates of domestic dragons known in the world.

The Knights-Draconic of Asbardy are personally loyal to the Archduke and are stationed in the capital city of Bryndyd where they protect the family of the Archduke and the city of Bryndyd. The Knights-Draconic can field a force of upwards to one hundred twenty mounted dragons, including novice knights and their mounts.

Knight and dragon must live together in order for them to acclimatize to each other and for the dragon to learn to accept the human as his master.

The body of highly-trained dragon-mounted knights in service to the Archduke of Asbardy, the Archducal Knights-Draconic of Asbardy maintain the ancient traditions of mountain dragon warfare in the face of modern, titancraft technology.

History

The Knights-Draconic of Asbardy fled from the rule of Bexaloth and lived in exile as guest-warriors of Ddägduch Lord of the Flying Earth (until 2391). They were said to have learned additional arcane powers during this time.
