An Archguild School is a community of guild schools operating under a common academic governance. Archguild schools, therefore, are sponsored by professional and craft guilds, and are found chiefly in the great cities of the Pallathantic. Archguild schools provide learning for those seeking a vocation in engineering, architecture, and applied sciences. In this regard they differ largely from an Archcollege that teaches knowledge mainly congruent with the liberal arts.
