Ashazya the Black Opal

Ashazya was an androgynous being of sparkling black form, probably entering our world as a kind of aio who ultimately manifested as a powerful chaos entity. He typically accepted the male gender attribute, but only as matter of simplification. He appeared as a large human with indiscernible features, like a flat silhouette of pure darkness with thousands of tiny sparkling stars. Ashazya overtook the rule of the priest-mages of Errignomon and became sole ruler of the island, establishing his palace in Talil.
He worshiped several chaos divinities, but especially the goddess, Ibsha. Receiving knowledge of the oncoming assault of the tisbajuma beforehand, Ashazya sent forth minions and creatures in the sea to thwart their advent. He also asked Strakkos Chaos Mage of Ebinóë for aid, but was further thwarted by forces under the leadership of Askymos Reclave. The siege of Talil lasted about a year (2252) and concluded with fall of the palace fortress and the death of the defenders, including Ashazya.
