Aurician Palatine Guard
The Aurician Palatine Guard is the elite body of energist soldiers who serve the Noble Republic of Aurice. They are highly trained energist warriors who are specialized to fight enemy energists, engage in espionnage abroad, and provide intelligence and military forces for chaos-based enemies of the state at home and abroad. They are led by the very prestigious Captain Palatine.
History
The nucleus of the Aurician Palatine Guard was originally formed during the rule of Stalcast Bijäl from Incarnandist warriors who were descended from Aurician tisbajuma who fought in the Fifth Isbajath. The Palatine Guard was so named because it originally was seated in the Palace Bijäl. During the republic, the guard was expanded in scope especially in the numerous campaigns in Asdauria and was removed from the palace to what is today the Citadel of the Palatine Guard of Aurice. Some of the original kamsudhi had been trained by Oliblishi combatants in the Fourteenth Isbajath, 2567 to 2569. Veterans of the Fourteenth Isbajath had further honed their expertise at the use of psychist powers against the Gorcorumbese Giants.
