Vimaluna is an ancient city of the Vimalian Plateau and a secondary capital of the Republic of Johaulia. It is famous as the location of the principle temple of the the god, Lord Vimal. The inhabitants also worship the rat goddess, Zagôtha, to whom a great temple is dedicated. Vimaluna is one of the twenty three Municipia or Municipal Cities of the Republic of Johaulia.
The name Vimaluna means the city of Vimal and is derived from the Jathya-Dhumi name, "Bhimaloksha".
